The 2012/2013 US MNT Home Jersey Is Awful

What are they thinking? The jersey does not need to look like the flag. There is a shadow sash running diagonally across the front... way too much going on.

It looks strikingly similar to the awful 1994 World Cup Jersey. Did Nike not learn from Adidas?
